  • User-Generated Content: Study notes, test bookmarks, custom study plans, practice queries, and test templates created within the platform.

2. Information Collected Automatically

When you access or interact with ZaubX, certain information is collected automatically:

  • Device and Browser Information: Device type, operating system, browser version, screen resolution, and language settings.
  • Log and Network Data: IP addresses, request timestamps, referring URLs, API call logs, and diagnostic error information.
  • Activity and Learning Metrics: Test attempts, question answers, solve durations, accuracy scores, practice streaks, and interaction with revision features.

3. Authentication, Sessions, and Local Storage

ZaubX uses secure authentication services (including Firebase Authentication) to verify user identity via email, Google sign-in, or phone verification.

We use secure tokens and browser storage mechanisms (such as localStorage and session tokens) strictly to keep you authenticated across sessions, remember your theme preferences, and maintain continuity in your practice workflows. We do not use third-party advertising tracking cookies.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the ZaubX learning platform and its features.
  • To calculate test scores, track preparation progress, and deliver personalized study analytics.
  • To analyze submitted answers and generate AI-assisted feedback and mentor responses.
  • To verify your account, authenticate requests, and safeguard platform security.
  • To respond to user support inquiries, technical issues, and operational requests.
  • To monitor platform stability, fix software defects, and measure feature performance.

5. Third-Party Service Providers and Infrastructure

We rely on established technology infrastructure partners to deliver our services. These providers process data solely to perform specific operational functions on our behalf under confidentiality and security safeguards:

  • Cloud Hosting & Storage: Amazon Web Services (AWS) for secure database storage, file hosting, and backend services.
  • Web Application Hosting & Analytics: Vercel for web application delivery and privacy-respecting performance analytics.
  • Authentication Services: Google Firebase Authentication for identity verification and token generation.
  • AI & Processing Services: Cloud AI model infrastructure used to analyze question prompts, evaluate mock answers, and assist exam preparation.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We only share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With trusted technical service providers as detailed in Section 5.
  • Legal Requirements: If required to comply with applicable law, court order, regulatory requirement, or enforceable government request.
  • Protection of Rights & Safety: To enforce platform terms, detect fraud, prevent security incidents, or protect the rights, property, and safety of our users or the public.

7. Data Retention and Security

We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active or as necessary to provide you with the service. We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures—including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and restricted database access—to protect your information.

However, no transmission over the Internet or electronic storage method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. User Rights and Account Deletion

You have the right to access, update, correct, or request the deletion of your personal information.

ZaubX is designed for competitive exam preparation and is not intended for children under 13 years of age (or the applicable minimum age under local law). If we discover that personal data from a child has been collected without verifiable parental consent, we will promptly delete that information.
